Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Policy

D.E.C. Infrastructure follows the most stringent quality standards to build high quality Buildings within timelines and budgetary, by deploying quality resources which include latest technology, qualified, trained and skilled human resource, and high quality materials, by adopting highest safety practices and risk management, by complying with legal and statutory framework, and corporate governance practices as stipulated all the time in its projects and corporate management.

We pursue high standards (beyond stipulation) and progressive improvement in Health, Safety and Environment. We are committed to “Zero harm” to our employees, all stakeholders at our premises, and to our surroundings. In particular, we recognize that health and safety a core management function and best practice entailing its full integration into the management of all other activities.

Wherever we operate we will ensure:

To work towards best practice by the process of continual improvement and compliance with all relevant legislation, codes of practice, and other appropriate guidance. Sub-contractors (where applicable) shall comply with this policy and are selected with HSE performance as part of the criteria.

To encourage all level of staff to show leadership and commitment in managing Health, Safety and Environment (referring to ISO 45001, ISO 14001), provide appropriate PPEs, displaying signboards for direction, work locations, hazard/restricted areas, and wherever appropriate to reward good practices.

That health and safety of our employees and other persons working under our control is utmost priority. We believe that occupational injuries and illness can be prevented and managed.  To manage health and safety aspects through the processes of risk assessment and risk control, implemented by managers and supervisors.

To provide and maintain premises and equipment, plant and equipment, and systems of work that are, so far as is reasonably practicable, without risks to health, safety and environment.

To provide appropriate information, instruction, training and supervision to all those involved in risk assessment and control, and in particular, to ensure that all its employees receive such training as is required for them to be able to discharge their tasks and duties in a competent and safe manner.

To encourage staff to set a high standard of health and safety by personal example so that employees take with them an attitude of mind that expects, and accepts, good health, safety and environment practice as normal.

To monitor and audit health and safety performance throughout the Company and to use the outcomes from these processes to inform and improve management practices as part of the commitment to continual improvement.

This statement of Quality & HSE Policy shall be reviewed annually and revised as appropriate, and in any event, shall be submitted to the Board of Directors for renewed approval. The authoritative working copy of this statement will be maintained on the Health & Safety Services web pages and notice of changes will be circulated and posted on the website.
